Massege from Prime Minister of Thailand
After a tumultuous period following the 1997 financial crisis, Thailand has managed at present to achieve macroeconomic stability and a sustained rate of economic growth. Illustrated by the rapid and continuous growth of the economy, Thai exports have undoubtedly become a significant tool in propelling the Thai economy, and have earned Thailand creditworthiness in the world trade arena. Throughout 2003, the public and private sectors collaborated to penetrate new markets and to substantially increase the competitiveness of Thai exporters. More Thai exporters were encouraged to establish their own brand names, and to further develop the quality of their products and services.
In Thailand, a Prime Minister’s Export Award is the most prestigious award that a Thai exporter can procure. This precious award symbolises extraordinary skills and expertise in export management as well as excellence in strategic international marketing. Incidentally, this year marks a significant milestone for the Best Exporter Awards, as it is the tenth anniversary. Therefore, the Royal Thai Government will take this opportunity to present the Export Honourary Recognition to those Best Exporter Awardees who have honourably maintained the quality of a Best Exporter up until now.
On this occasion, I would like to commend and congratulate all the award recipients for their tireless efforts for our country, and wish them a bright and prosperous future in all their business endeavours. |
